PRC NSCRO Final 4 Details

The Potomac Rugby Conference NSCRO semifinals and final rounds are on Saturday-Sunday, November 9-10 hosted by Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, MD.  All games are on Echo Field in front of the Seminary.
 
 
KICK-OFF TIMES:
Saturday, November 9
Semifinal Game 1 at 1:00PM: Mount St. Marys (#1) vs. American (#4)
Semifinal Game 2 at 3:00PM: Catholic (#2) vs. Loyola (#3)
 
Sunday, November 10
Final at 1:00PM
No consolation game
 
Winner will advance to Regionals in march 2014
 
 
DIRECTIONS:
16300 Old Emmitsburg Rd Emmitsburg, MD 21727
VENUE: Echo Field in front of the Seminary.
 
1. Take 495 North to I-270 North towards Frederick
2, At Frederick city, stay to the left lane and it becomes US-15 North.
3. Stay on US-15 North for 20 miles until you see the Mt. St. Marys campus on the left side.
4. Turn left into main campus and take a quick left on John Walsh Way.
5. Drive past the Knott Auditorium towards Memorial Gym.
 
PARKING: Parking is available in lot #10 around Memorial Gym.  Game is on Echo Field in front of the Seminary
 
 
CHECK-IN:  Players will check in about an hour before kick-off by verifying the USA Rugby CIPP Roster and their college picture ID.
 
 
ALCOHOL POLICY: 
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED by ANYONE at the venue.  Teams are responsible for their players, coaches and their fans.
 
 
CONDUCT:

Collegiate rugby players represent their universities and are ambassadors of United States collegiate rugby. Collegiate rugby players, their team and supporters should not tolerate obnoxious, impolite or antisocial behavior of any sort which could adversely affect the image of collegiate rugby as a serious and disciplined athletic endeavor.  Teams are responsible for the behavior of their players, coaches and their fans.
   

RED/YELLOW CARDS:
The issuing of any red or yellow cards will be carried into the following day or longer.  That is, if you are issued a red card and removed from the match, you are suspended for the finals match and additional penalties provided by the Disciplinary Committee.
 
 
OVERTIME PROCEDURES:
- If the match is tied in regulation, then there will be a 5 minute water break followed by overtime.
- There will be a coin toss during the water break to determine side and kickoff. Teams will alternate side and kickoff at the start of every overtime period.
- Overtime begins with TWO 10-minute periods. BOTH 10 minute periods will be fully played, regardless of scoring.
- There is a 2-minute water break at the end of every overtime period.
- If one team is ahead at the end of the second overtime period, then they are the winner of the match.
- If the match is still tied after two overtime periods, the match will proceed to sudden death.
- Sudden death consists of 10-minute periods with a change of sides and kickoffs after each period. Note: the teams merely switch sides and kickoff to the begin the 3rd OT period which begins sudden death; there is no additional coin toss.
- The first team to score in sudden death is the winner of the match.
- There will be a 5 minute water break after each 40 minutes (4 periods) of overtime play.
